Zappos Bay to Breakers Race Inspiration

Today I am partnering with Zappos to share a personal story that is inspired by the Zappos Bay to Breakers race. "Things that are valuable are not easy to achieve."  "Just keep swimming... just keep swimming..., just another few miles..."  "Pain is weakness leaving your body." Those are just a few things I repeat to myself over and over as I push myself during my runs. I've been running since middle school and was on the Track & Field and Cross Country team in High School. Running has always been the activity where I feel most connected to myself, the ground, and the world. Everything and everyone else (except my dog Mochi) in the world is zoned out and my mind is clear and focused. You can say that running is my kind therapy. :) I am not running in the Bay to Breakers race this year, but always love following races on social media, especially this one because people get really into dressing up. Some people dress up in groups while other do crazy out of the box stuff. (There is never a dull day in The Bay!) But on another note, did you know that Zappos carries a huge, and I mean huge selection of athletic gear, shoes, accessories, and more! They started off by building their business by offering just footwear, but now carry apparel, accessories, handbags, jewelry, and much more. Zappos is so much more than shoes! The best part about shopping on Zappos is that they have fast and free shipping, and as if that isn't enough, they also have free 365 day return policy. I love doing my shopping on Zappos and just placed a order of cute athletic clothing. Hey a girl can never have too many cute workout clothes! ;)

Until next time,

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Everyday Eyelet Dress

Hey guys! I hope you're having a great week so far. I can't believe how fast this year is flying by, it is already mid-May and summer is right around the corner. The other half got me the Apple Watch as a late birthday gift and I have really enjoyed playing around with it! Working in from Silicon Valley, we get exposure to a lot of new tech, some are complete flops and some are nice extensions of our gadgets. One feature in the Apple Watch that surprised and has grown on me is their activity app, I always thought that I was a pretty active person; we work out a few days in a week and play tennis on the weekends. But after wearing the watch for a few weeks, I've learned that I don't do enough! So I've been trying to meet my goal that I set in the watch everyday, which has not been easy! But we're not giving up so wish me luck!!

On another note, did you know you can create yourself or a loved one as a bobblehead?! My uncle's company that does this is Headbobble and we have everyone in our family as a bobblehead. It is really fun and a great gift for your someone special, as a wedding gift, or birthday present. Be sure to check him out!

Have a great weekend! <3

Casual Weekend Wear

Jumping for joy because it is Friday and the other half and I are going to Vegas this weekend!! This might be my everyday look when I am not dressing up for a night out or for any special occasion. I love a great pair of skinnies, a loose tee, and comfortable sandals. I dont know if you can tell, but it was very windy as we shot these photos in San Francisco. My hair was flying all over the place, in many of the shots I had a section of my hair that kept flying vertically up and I looked like Alfalfa from Little Rascals. :) Hope you have a great weekend! xxo
