Hello and happy Thursday everyone! This week went by exceptionally fast since Monday was a holiday.

Thank you to those who entered my first giveaway! It is running until Saturday, June 1st, so if you have not already there is still time to enter. Click here see the full contest details and to enter. May the odds be ever in your favor. :) (CONTEST CLOSED)

My sister got a kick out of this necklace that I paired with this tough neon moto look. She thought it was a giant eyelash! I can see how she could of mistaken the cool spikes for a giant eyelash... hehe... What do you think? ^_~

Someone very near and dear to my heart made a witty remark about the current hot neon trend that really resonated in me because I love silly things. They said, "Neon is meant to be on." Till this day as I say it in my head, I find myself giggling since it is such a ridiculous, yet funny thing to say.

These yellow heels are new babies and they are my first take on the neon trend. I am currently introducing more vibrant colors into my wardrobe and these are at first were a bit intimidating. But after trying them on with a few outfits, I've found that these yellow heels are really fun to wear and can be dressed both up and down!

  1. Hi Connie,

I admire what you do, and it pleases me to see how you put pieces together. It gives me an opportunity to evaluate what I have in my closet and how I can put them together. Thank you for sharing your talent in everyday fashion.

I have a question for you: how long do you usually wear your heels when you go out? I have this notion that pretty girls (like you) wear them all the time, and I tried it wear them, and they are so uncomfortable. I end taking them off and walking barefoot. :( What is your secret? Thanks, Connie!

    1. Hi Virgilyn,

Thank you so much for you kind words, its really amazing to hear that and I really appreciate it. :)

I do love wearing heels when I go out on the weekends, sometimes wedges or heels, but I ALWAYS bring a pair of flats or flip flops along too. ;) Just so I don't kill my feet. There are some girls that can wear heels ALL of the time, I am not one of them, although I wish my feet could bare them.. hehe But the thing is to find a pair that fits your feet. Everyone has different feet, I for example have a really high arch so I like heels that have lots of padding in the insoles or I buy cushions to put into them. I recommend going to a shoe store and trying a bunch on to see which kinds of heels feels better on your feet. You'll quickly find that some are so uncomfortable and some are amazing!! :)

      I hope this helps!! <3

  5. While I'm not a huge fan of high platforms, I do love the color of your heels! I'm becoming a huge fan of sunshine yellow in general, so these look great to me.

Also, love that jacket. I nice classic leather jacket is definitely on my list.
