P&G Unstopable Review

I'm excited to share my most recent partnership with P&G to review their new line of Unstopables products and boy do they make my house smell super nice and fresh. I got to try out a few of the items in the line which includes fabric refresher, air refresher, scented oil warmer, candle, and in-wash scent booster beads. P&G partnered with iconic interior designer Nate Berkus and fragrance aficionado Carlos Huber to create this collection. Unstopables fabric refresher and air refresher are infused with a proprietary long-lasting fragrance technology that slowly releases freshness over time to continually give the air and your fabric a fragrant boost enhancement. One of the amazing parts is that you get many days of freshness with the new products! 

My favorite tip from Nate Berkus is his take on how to switch things up at home. He said, "When you get bored with your room, the easiest thing to do is switch it up! Consider moving your sofa to anther wall, bring in a side table from another room, swap to your throw pillows. You can totally refresh a room without spending a cent. For curtains, couches and rugs that can't be washed, a few spritzes of Unstopables Fabric Refresher will add long-lasting freshness."

Generally I really love candles because of their beautiful scents and how they light up a room. I especially loved how P&G had candles in the Unstopables collection because I got to mix and match my favorite scent of candle with its fabric refresher, air refresher, oil warmers and more to reinforce the scent. My favorite scent was the purple colored ones called Lush, it was lavender and vanilla. (yum!) 

After learning about the Unstopables collection, I am super excited to share this with you guys because these new products are truly amazing, you'll be surprised by how adding scent to your home can make a big difference and bring everything together.

Happy 2nd Anniversary to Connnietang!

I can't believe how fast time flies, today is Connnietang's second anniversary (as well as my 27th birthday! Hehe...) I want to take this time to dedicate this post to you guys and thank you from the bottom of my heart. I first started this blog as a creative outlet and as a fun new hobby with the other half, but this blog has changed my life. I absolutely love sharing outfits, connecting with readers, and having the opportunity to work with amazing companies and brands. I've met so many people along the way and have made so many new friends, I want to thank you all for your support and love. None of this would of been possible without everyone of you! <3

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Review

Happy Thursday!

 bareMinerals does it again, after launching their bareSkin liquid foundation back in May of 2014. They kicked off 2015 with a brand new tinted hydrating gel cream foundation. Image a foundation that is the perfect combination of a BB, CC, & tinted moisturizer. I was lucky enough partner with bareMinerals and try out their new Complexion Rescue and have been using it everyday for the past month! Like all other bareMinerals products, this foundation is actually good for your skin, it is loaded with skin-loving humectants and mineral electrolytes that will hydrate and leave your skin dewy, natural looking, and feeling soft (not oily). 

1. Shake the product
2. Squeeze out a pea size amount onto the Smooth Face Brush or finger tips
3. Blend away with the brush or rub in as you would with a moisturizer
4. Wa-la finished!

A few aspects of Complexion Rescue that I especially love about the product is the fact that is absorbs super quickly and how it leaves my skin feeling soft and matte. I've tried many liquid and tinted foundations throughout the years and always hated ones that left my face oily because the rest of my makeup does not apply on well, but that is definitely not the case with Complexion Rescue. It goes on so easily that I can quickly apply another layer for extra coverage and go right into the rest of my makeup routine. 

I've discovered that I prefer to use my fingers to apply Complexion Rescue because I personally prefer to rub/pat the product into the corners of my face, but bareMinerals launched a new brush to compliment the foundation. The new Smoothing Face Brush is super soft and leaves you with a nice airbrushed effect! Lou & Grey

I styled this gorgeous light grey top with white jeans for a casual weekend look that is perfect for brunch, running errands, and shopping!


This past weekend I had the privilege of visiting my local Lou & Grey store, an Ann Taylor brand and I have to honestly say that I was mesmerized and made my other half follow me around the store for over an hour as I shopped. I adore their style of clothing, the color palette of the items were light and feminine and the vibe was casual yet chic. The store decor fit their items perfectly and being a web-designer by day, I appreciate attention to detail and absolutely loved the attention they put into wrapping up your purchase. Lou & Grey is perfect little place to shop for comfortable everyday items that can be dressed up and or down. 4 Spring Picks & HP x360 #BendTheRules

Neutral Shades

Anyone looking forward to the 50 Shades of Grey movie?! I told the other half that we have to watch it Valentine's Day weekend, preferably on Saturday afternoon to avoid the massive crowd. So in light of 50 Shades of Grey, I styled this look with many shades of nude and white. This crop lace top is so pretty and I love the feminine lace detail on the neckline. :)

I can't believe it is already February and Valentine's Day is around the corner!
