Hey guys! I'm continuing my partnership with HP to bring you another post about being creative, brave, and unconventional -about doing stuff that "bends the rules". (See post one here!) This post is inspired by the HP x360's Behind The Scenes video, mainly because I personally love working on projects that are new, refreshing, and collaborative. I especially loved how HP brought together a bunch of super talented creatives to contribute and collaborate on this project! My blog for instance, I work extremely close with my photographer / boyfriend to plan out outfits, shoot locations, timing, and more. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and time, but we love doing it so it does not feel like work. Plus it has brought us that much closer. :) (Thank baby!) But it was mainly the collaborative nature of this project that really drew me to do this partnership with HP.
Today, I'm partnering with my sister Winnes. She is an amazing older sister, we are 3 years apart, and I always look to her for advice; you can say we are more like BFF's than sisters. One thing that we love doing is getting together on the weekends and hosting a dinner with our family! I am usually in charge of making a refreshing beverage and thats what we are going to share with you today! You just need a handful of ingredients to make this yummy drink.
1. Green Tea
5. Torani Strawberry Syrup
6. Tonic Water
I have been making this half & half drink for a really long time and thought that I mastered the mixing and portions, but this past weekend when my sister and I got together to make it for this post, she suggested to add tonic water. We did, and it made the drink that much better! Imaging a fizzy fruity half & half! Yum! And that is why I love projects that are "out of the box", new, and push the envelope. When you get different great ideas bouncing off of each other, it can lead to something amazing! This is how I got to "bend the rules" with my sister, we found a new, but more importantly better way to make this tea drink. Which is what the amazing artists achieved in their interactive video and you can watch the Behind The Scenes video here!
I really hope you enjoyed this post as much as my sister and I did. So next time you have a get together or just want to "bend the rules" to your ice tea, try out my recipe and spice it up with a splash of syrup and fruit!
Have an amazing rest of your week!
Until next time,
