Fall Wedding Look

I wore this look to a family wedding last weekend in LA and with the weather slowly transitioning from Summer to Fall, the sleeves on this dress made it prefect for the outdoor occasion. For me, it is always a bit hard to decide what to wear to an outdoor wedding because the weather can sometimes be unpredictable, but the beautiful bride and groom did an amazing job selecting a really pretty venue  that was nested in between Spanish styled buildings.

I'm sure excited that it is already Fall and I can't wait to pull out my scarves, booties, and faux fur vests for Fall looks! Have an amazing rest of your week!

Chic Night Out

Hey guys! So sorry for the absence over the past week, I've been so busy with my day job and traveling from Los Angeles to NYC and back and forth. But I am not complaining, being too busy is better than not having much to do. :) I'm writing this post in Los Angeles, we're getting ready for a wedding and are about to head out. I'll post the dress that I'm wearing in the next post. So keep an eye out for that. I hope you have an amazing week! <3

Green & Blue

I recently paired this emerald crop top with a navy embelished skirt (see post here), but couldn't help myself from styling it again with the matching skirt. I this this look would be great for a Holiday look or company dinner. Dressy but still chic!

100% Pure Review

I attended a 100% Pure event at Santana Row (a cute shopping area in San Jose, highly recommend!) and got invited to become a 100% Pure Blogger! Words cannot describe how excited I am to share my personal thoughts on a few of their products that I got the chance to try out and review. I love products that work well, but most importantly ones that are healthy and actually good for you! If you are not familiar with 100% Pure, they are a cosmetic shop that carry pure, organic, and all natural products ranging from skincare to makeup.

I'm super excited to share my thoughts with you, so let's get started!

Herbal Detox Mask
OMG, if you love minty products, you must try this mask. I have used it a couple if times in the past few weeks and love how it leaves my skin feeling super smooth, it has a thin clay-like consistency that is packed with amazing mintiness! But be warned that the mintiness might sting a little if you have sensitive skin.

Aqua Boost Hydrating Mask
This mask is going perfect for dry cold winter skin, it is super moisturizing and has a thick cream consistency. I can see myself really enjoying this mask as the days start to get shorter and colder.

This is a really great moisturizer that does not leave your skin feeling oily, it has a thick cream consistency so it takes a tad longer than usual to apply. I love good SPF moisturizers that are not oily especially since I'm training for a half-marathon and am out in the sun and sweating a lot!

Brightening Serum
Using a serum under my moisturizer in the morning and nights have been in my daily routine for a couple of years and this one seems at par with other high-end serums that I've used and at half the price! (win-win!)

Honey Cream Wash Coconut
100% Pure has one of the best body wash that I've used, they smell amazing, lather well, and left my skin feeling smooth and moisturized.

Coconut Hand Buttercream
This is amazing to carry in your purse because it is a convenient small-easy-to-squeeze size. Since it is a buttercream, it is thicker and especially good for someone who has dry skin.

Coconut Lime Whipped Body Butter
This body butter is so rich and creamy, I love how it left my skin smelling amazing and feeling super moisturized for a really long time! And the best part is how nice it smells! :)

Eye Creamstick
These are new to 100% Pure and I already know they are a keeper. They are so smooth and creamy which makes them so easy to apply. Plus, it lasts all day and are retractable (for all of my on the go girls! No need to sharpen these babies!) My favorite colors are Naked Glimmer and Susie's Favorite. They come in 6 different pretty shades!

Lip Creamstick
So these are amazing! I love lipsticks, tinted lip balms, chapstick, lip gloss, etc., pretty much anything on the lops and these are the perfect combination of color and moisture. They go on really easily and moisturize your lips at the same time. I've been rotating these pretty colors around, but particularly love pink shades and Dragon Fruit and Cake (pretty natural shade) are my fav. I highly recommend these!!

Last but not least...Cleansing Tools!

Konjac Sponge -Charcoal
This was my first time trying a facial sponge and I'm really impressed! This really leaves my face feeling really clean and breaks away any dry skin. I've been using it for about 2 weeks (sometimes with my cleanser, but sometimes by itself) and am really happy about it so far!

Facial Cleansing Brush
This brush is super soft and fluffy! I personally prefer the Konjac Sponge over the brush because I like a deeper cleansing feel, but if you have sensitive skin this would work well for you!

Well that is it for now, I really hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions about 100% Pure or any of these products, please comment below and I'd be more than happy to help describe the products further. But overall, I am really impressed and really like these products that are both nice and healthy!

Hope you have a great rest of your week!

Wake Up With Me

This post is sponsored by Always Liners

As many of you know, blogging is not my only gig; I juggle blogging with working full-time as the head of UI/UX design at a start-up in Silicon Valley, so I guess you can say that I have two start-up jobs. (hehe…) Working at a start-up means wearing many hats, but I honestly love what I do during the day (work) and at night (blog + playing with my baby Mochi). However to be frank, it sometimes does get overwhelming having to keep track of work emails and tasks as well as my blog emails, social media posts, and blog schedules. But I can’t complain, it is a good problem to have. I am the type of person who goes insane when I have nothing to do. I strive in environments that are demanding and somewhat stressful. ;)

After juggling my two start-up jobs for over two years, I have discovered a few little things that help me get through the day. And may I add, these little things are lifesavers and I carry these things with me all the time –especially when I go traveling for work.

Trinket Box: Macaron Box from Urban Outfitters
(I put a few ibuprofen, migraine relief, and antihistamine pills inside, you never know when you might need one!)
Always Liners: Always Xtra Protection Liners (life saver!)
External Phone Charger: Anker Portable Charger from Amazon
Snack: Granola Bars, currently loving this KIND Popped Salted Caramel Bar
Hairclip / Hair-tie: Scunci No-Slip Jaw Clips
Nail File: OPI Crystal Nail File (love glass nail files!)

I am always finding new necessities to add to my list, but these are my current musts to stay fresh all day every day. What are your handbag necessities that you absolutely can't live without? Please share! :)

Until next time,
Connie
